OCC’s Joel Pawloski Memorial Scholarship Opens to Applications

SALEM, OR—June 30, 2026—The Oregon Conservative Caucus (OCC) Board of Directors – Kerry McQuisten, Solomon Yue, Jean Sampson, Russ Walker and Randy Pullen – are pleased to announce that the Joel Pawloski Memorial Scholarship opens to applications tomorrow through the month of July.
The Board voted unanimously last year to create this scholarship to honor the memory of one of its most impactful members, Joel Pawloski, who succumbed to lung cancer.
The $1,000 scholarship, to be awarded annually, is open to pre-registered and registered Republicans in Oregon who are entering a college, university, or trade school for the first time. Immediate family members of the OCC Advisory Board or Board of Directors are ineligible for consideration.
The scholarship will be dispersed in time for the fall 2026 school year. More details about the application process, including the application form itself, are available in the News & Media section of the OCC website.
